    • Outcomes: Occupational performance, health and wellness, quality of life, participation, role competence, and well-being

    • Documentation: Electronic narrative format on Carelogic

    • Needs Assessment Project: Conducted a needs assessment on clients who are older adults, their daily activities, and occupational therapy services that could benefit them through interviews with clients and staff members

  • Achieved 100% independent productivity by end of 12 weeks (~480 hours total)

  • Acute Care: Worked on intensive care unit, neurologic, oncology, orthopedic, psychologic, pulmonary, and surgical floors

  • Inpatient Rehabilitation: Worked with patients with debility, encephalopathy, hematoma, hemiparesis, myelopathy, myopathy, pacemaker, spinal fracture, stroke, tendon injury, and upper/lower extremity fracture

  • Completed evaluations, interventions, outcomes, documentation, and literature review and activity development projects

    • Acute Care - Evaluations: Upper extremity range of motion, manual muscle testing, coordination, sensation, and proprioception screens; activities of daily living (e.g., upper body and lower body dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting); bed mobility; transfers; functional ambulation; vision screen

    • Acute Care - Interventions: Activities of daily living (e.g., upper body and lower body dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting); bed mobility; transfers; functional ambulation; upper extremity active range of motion, active assisted range of motion, passive range of motion, and home exercise program (e.g., theraband exercises); recommendations and resources for adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment

    • Inpatient Rehabilitation - Interventions: Activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, grooming, upper body and lower body dressing, toileting); transfers; functional mobility; recommendations and instruction in adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment; upper extremity active range of motion, active assisted range of motion, passive range of motion, fine motor, and home exercise program (e.g., strength, endurance tasks); standing tolerance

    • Inpatient Rehabilitation - Outcomes: Occupational performance

    • Inpatient Rehabilitation - Documentation: Electronic format on Epic

    • Inpatient Rehabilitation - Activity Development Project: Developed activities that could be completed while standing to work on cognitive, perceptual, and fine motor skills and standing tolerance

  • Achieved 75-100% independent productivity by end of 6 weeks in each setting (~480 hours total)
